Individual Development Plan (IDP)
Every civilian is required to complete an Individual Development Plan (IDP) with their supervisor each year. IDPs are vital for identifying the training and skills needed to grow both personally and professionally. They help employees enhance their job performance, improve efficiency and foster greater engagement through new learning opportunities.
Academic Degree Program (ADP)
The Academic Degree Program (ADP) provides financial assistance for employees pursuing academic degrees, professional licenses or certifications. This funding supports degree programs that align with organizational goals and improve both individual and team performance.
Information Development Institute (IDI) Portal
The Information Development Institute (IDI) Portal is an online learning platform designed to support skill development for those in IT, cyber, data/AI and intelligence roles. It provides access to a variety of training resources, academic opportunities and industry exchange programs.
Industry exchanges and rotational opportunities
The Marine Corps offers unique experiential learning opportunities through partnerships with industry leaders and other federal agencies, including:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Chief Executive Officer (CXO) Exchange Program
- Cyber Information Technology Exchange Program (CITEP)
- Cyber Workforce Rotational Program (CWRP)
- Joint Duty Assignment (JDA) Program
